Yes I am in love with this Mayer. Not John Mayer but Mayer Hawthorne! The new artist from Stone Throw Record is giving contemporary soul music to the listeners. Born and raised in Detroit, Mayer will debut his album to the world THIS SUMMER! yeeeeahh!
He's not only untrained singer, DJ Touring Artist, but also has a rapping alter-ego known as HairCut. Taking Barry White, Isaac Hayes, James Jamerson and the Funk Bros, The Moments as his influences, 29-year-old white kid released his first two singles ‘Just Ain't Gonna Work Out’ and ‘When I Said Goodbye’ which are MY FAVORITE! It's hard to believe that getting those two singles are really killing, just full of struggle. I cant wait for his new single 'Maybe So Maybe No' that suppose to be released this March.
